Douglas Reynolds

Major Douglas Reynolds MC RAMC was an army doctor who trained at Guy’s Hospital in London after Malvern.

He graduated MB and BS Lond in 1908 and to MRCS and LRCP Lond. the same year. He would take the DHP in 1924.

He was commissioned into the RAMC in 1911. He served in the Great War, in Afghanistan in 1919 and then in Waziristan where he won the MC. He was promoted major in 1924.

He died in 1933 at the age of 49.

He was initiated in the Æsculapius Lodge No 2410, the medical lodge in London that was not officially linked to any one hospital but with had a strong Guy’s contingent in its early days. On active service on the NW Frontier he also joined the Albert Victor Lodge No 2370, an Installed Masters’ lodge in the Punjab focused on research. He was made PPGSD for the District Grand Lodge of the Punjab
