Herbert Stround was a Solicitior, one of ten founders practising the Law, by far the largest contingent amongst them. He first practised in Cheltenham before moving to Rugby.
He was initiated into Laurence Sheriffe Lodge No 3497 in Rugby, founded in 1911 by the schoolmasters of Rugby School, another link with one of the great public schools of England.
